IT'S BEEN & GONE!
SUNDAY 13th JUNE 2021
After a COVID-driven cancellation in 2020, we're delighted to say that the Mendips Lakes and Lumps Ride returned this year on Sunday 13th June 2021 as part of the National Trust's modified Top of the Gorge Activity Weekend.
And what a day it was - a spectacular route, superb weather, and a bunch of lovely people on bikes!
Riders were able to enjoy some really spectacular sights & views along the way, and it was clear from riders' reactions at the finish line that they had a great day out and felt a huge sense of achievement - especially given the extremely warm & sunny conditions! So we'd really like to say a big 'Thank You' - and congratulations - to everyone who took part in 2021 for making it such a fabulous day out.
We'd also like to thank our wonderful Event Partners and, in particular, the marvellous support team who helped us to put on such a successful and enjoyable event - the mechanics, medics, service providers, refreshment stop, and other helpers who all contributed considerable time and effort too.
It was wonderful to be able to bring the Mendips Lakes and Lumps Ride back to provide a really good physical challenge AND a great day out, and plans will be underway very soon for a repeat performance in 2022.
So, if you missed out on this year, don't let it happen again - JOIN OUR MAILING LIST and we'll make sure that you receive all the latest info about plans for 2022, and then just make sure that you get your entry in at the earliest opportunity!
